Poor dad

As Theodor Adorno pointed out in 1954, television shows tend to leave the job of showing up the father to a teenage daughter, “the haughty, egoistic, yet irresistible girl who plays havoc with poor dad.” Walt has no teenage daughter, so all we have are sweaters, and other props, to clue us in.
